12-13-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 9:46 AM for a single vehicle accident with injuries in Susquehanna Township on Rts 11/15.  Crews arrived to find one patient Class 4 for whom the coroner was called.  No other injuries were reported.  Units cleared the scene at 12:45 PM.

11-2-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 19:21 PM for a two vehicle accident in Liverpool Township on Rts 11/15.  Rescue 5 arrived to find a mini-van that had hit at least one deer and was then rear-ended by a tractor-trailer.  No injuries were reported.  Units cleared the scene at 20:04 PM.

10-21-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 16:10 PM for a two vehicle accident in Liverpool Borough.  Rescue 5 arrived to find two vehicles with moderate damage but no injuries to any occupants.  Units cleared the scene at 16:59 PM.

10-10-09  Company 5 held celebrated Fire Prevention Week by inviting local residents to the station for educational information, coloring books and activities for children, and rides in Rescue 5.

10-3-09  Company 5 participated in Truck Ops 1 training with Snyder Co 90.

9-24-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 05:56 AM for a two vehicle accident in Liverpool Boro on Rts 11/15.  Crews arrived to find occupants out of the vehicles and uninjured.  Crews cleared the scene at 06:34 AM.

9-8-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 14:45 PM for a single vehicle accident in Liverpool Township on Rts 11/15.  Crews arrived to find the tractor trailer against the guard rail.  The single patient was declared deceased at the scene.  Crews cleared the scene at 18:59 PM.

8-30-09  Company training was held in the morning of 8-30-09.  Pump operations and basic line handling were covered

8-29-09  The junior firefighters held a car wash to raise funds for training. 

8-16-09  Company 5 participated in Pump Operations 1 class in Ickesburg along with crews from Shermansdale, Ickesburg, New Bloomfield, Duncannon and New Buffalo fire companies.

7-26-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 04:15 AM to Susquehanna Twp, Juniata County on Rt 104 for a possible utility pole fire.  Crews arrived to find a single vehicle had collided with the pole and resting in a field.  No injuries were reported.  Crews cleared the scene at 07:15 AM. 

7-11-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 15:45 PM to Chapman Twp, Snyder County on Rts 11/15 to assist Company 60 on a 2 vehicle involving a car vs tractor trailer with rollover and entrapment.  Crews arrived to find the tractor trailer on it's side in a drainage ditch with the driver entrapped.  After a forty minute extrication, the driver was flown via Life Flight to Geisinger Hospital.  Crews cleared the scene at 16:53 PM.

7-11-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 00:32 AM to Susquehanna Twp, Juniata County on Rt 235 for a single vehicle accident.  Crews arrived to find an SUV into a telephone pole.  Crews cleared teh scene at 02:27 AM.

7-6-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 09:45 AM to Liverpool Twp on 11/15 for a two vehicle accident.  One victim required extrication. Crews cleared the scene at 11:00 AM.

7-5-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 19:54 PM to Liverpool Twp for an ATV accident.  Two victims were flown to the hospital via Life Lion.  Crews cleared the scene at 20:24 PM.

6-20-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 18:48 PM to Chapman Twp, Snyder county to assist Company 60 on a residential structure fire.  Company 5's crews were first to arrive on the scene to find the 2nd story heavily involved.  Crews cleared the scene at 22:31 PM.

6-18-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 16:12 PM to Susquehanna Twp for a utility pole fire.  Crews cleared the scene at 17:28 PM.

5-29-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 07:16 AM to Liverpool Twp for a tree across the road and into a house.  Crews cleared the scene at 08:05 AM.

5-26-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 11:18 AM to Liverpool Twp for a motorcycle accident.  Crews arrived to find a single victim that had flipped his moped on Rt 17.  Patient was assessed and flown to the hospital via Life Lion.  Units cleared the scene at 12:00 PM.

5-19-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 02:42 AM to assist on a commercial structure fire with Company 9 and 11 other companies.  The Amity Hall Inn was a total loss.  Company 5 units cleared the scene at 10:36 AM.

4-30-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 01:03 for a single vehicle accident in Buffalo Township.  Crews arrived to find a single vehicle into a tree with no passengers injured.  Units cleared the scene at 01:32.

4-25-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 09:25 for a vehicle fire in Liverpool Township.  Crews arrived to find a pickup truck with the engine compartment fully involved and moving into the passenger compartment.  Units cleared the scene at 09:49.

4-17-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 16:24 to Liverpool Township for a farm equipment fire. Crews arrived to find a hay bailer with the engine compartment fully engulfed. Fire was quickly extinguished by crews. Units cleared the scene at 16:42.

04-10-09 Company 5 held it's annual Easter Flower sale.

03-23-09 Company 5 smoked a house for training.

03-01-09  Company 5, Ambulances 59, 79 & 79-1 were dispatched at 19:32 for a 2 vehicle accident in Liverpool Boro on Rts 11&15.  Crews arrived to find all patients out of the vehicles with only one injury and the rest signing off.  Crews cleared the scene at 20:16.

2-23-09  Company 5, Ambulance's 59 & 109 and Medic 81 were dispatched at 19:50 for a single vehicle accident, vehicle down over an embankment with entrapment.  Crews arrived to find the vehicle in a culvert with a single patient entrapped.  After the patient was extricated, he was flown to the hospital via Life Lion.  Crews cleared the scene at 20:51.

2-19-09  Company 5, Medic 81 and Juniata Ambulances J95 and J95-1 were dispatched at 05:53 for a two vehicle accident on Rt 104 in Susquehanna Twp.  Crews arrived to find 2 vehicles involved in a head-on accident with one patient entrapped.  Extrication of the patient took approximately 44 minutes, at which point the patient was transported to the hospital.  Crews cleared the scene at 08:16.

1-26-09  Company 5 and Ambulance 59 were dispatched at 22:52 for a single vehicle accident in Liverpool Boro on 11/15.  Crews arrived to find a PennDot plow truck down an embankment on it's side.  The driver was uninjured.  Northridge Hazmat was brought in to handle the fuel spilled by the truck.  Crews cleared the scene at 01:36.

1-23-09 Company 5 was dispatched at 13:21 for a two vehicle accident in Liverpool Township on 11/15.  Crews arrived to find 2 vehicles with heavy damage but no injuries to the occupants.  Crews were released 14:35.

1-20-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 4:35  for a fuel spill in Liverpool Township on 11/15.  Crews arrived to find a tractor trailer leaking fuel as a result of striking debris on the roadway and tearing the fuel line out of the fuel tank.  Crews cleared the scene at 7:37.

1-16-09  Company 5 was dispatched for mutual aid to Company 10 for a residential structure fire at 12:08.  Crews arrived to find a ranch-style house with heavy smoke showing.  Company 5 was released at 14:33.

1-15-09  Company 5 was dispatched at 04:56 for a single vehicle accident in Buffalo Township on 11/15 with no injuries.  Crews cleared the scene at 5:52.

12-18-08  Company 5 was dispatched with mutual aid from 7, 9 and 10, as well as Ambulance 59, at 15:22 for a detached garage fire in Liverpool Twp.  Snyder Engine 9-2 also transferred to Station 5 quarters.  Crews arrived to find the 2 story structure fully involved.  The structure was a total loss however crews were successful in rescuing 7 dogs from kennels attached to the garage.  Crews were released at 1928.
